Job Description
Palabora Copper (Pty) Ltd in partnership with Leolo Community Trust hereby invites Ba-Phalaborwa Communities to apply for the Non-Artisan Skills Programs. These opportunities are targeted at candidates who are already in possession of Grade 12 Certificate with no work experience. Successful candidates will enter into 8-months Skills Program contract with Palabora Copper (Pty) Ltd. This is not a contract of employment and does not guarantee a job at the end of the contract.
Skills programs opportunities are available in the following disciplines

Selection and qualifying criteria:
- Must have Grade 12
- Must be an Unemployed South African Citizen.
- A Valid Driver’s license (Applicable for Surface TMMs Skills Programs)
- Must be aged between 18 – 40 years old with no criminal record.
- Short-listed applicants will be required to undergo pre-screening assessments and interviews
- Short-listed applicants for TMMs Skills Programs will also be subjected to Observation Process
- Preference will be given to candidates with good matric results or with Pure Maths or Science
- Must be medically fit to work in all areas

- Recent certified copy of Matric certificate
- Proof of residential address for Ba-Phalaborwa communities (i.e. Maseke, Lulekani, Makhushane, Namakgale, Benfarm, Selwane, Mashishimale and Phalaborwa Town) e, g Municipal letter or Tribal Authority letter, certified by a commissioner of Oaths
