REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) in Property Management, Real Estate, Town & Regional Planning, Accounting, Commerce, or a tertiary qualification with major subjects in Property Law, Assets Management, or Accounting.
  • Appropriate experience in Property/Accounting/Immovable Asset Register Management.
  • Experience in State land administration and verification of immovable assets (land and buildings) is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Decision-making, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

DUTIES:
Provide general administrative support to the Deputy Director:

  • Immovable Asset Register.
  • Assist with monitoring tasks during the implementation of Immovable Asset Register projects.
  • Administer physical verification activities to confirm the existence and condition of immovable assets in the register.
  • Ensure improvements to state property are identified and recorded.
  • Vest land parcels and endorse title deeds under DPW custodianship.
  • Verify documents from sources like Deeds Office, Surveyor-General, and Municipalities.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Deputy Director.
