General Worker Vacancies – Eastern Cape Department of Transport

Requirements:
Applicants must have ABET Level 2 or Grade 8. No previous experience is required, however exposure to a similar working environment will be an added advantage. Candidates must be healthy, physically fit, and willing to work after hours when required. The ability to read and write, good communication skills, and self-management abilities are essential.

Duties:
Successful candidates will provide general work assistance including loading and off-loading furniture and other goods, cleaning government vehicles, and cleaning relevant workstations.

Important Information

Applications must be submitted on a signed Z83 form and accompanied by a recently updated and comprehensive CV. Applicants must attach copies of qualifications, identity documents, and a driver’s license where applicable. Certified copies are not required upon application but will be requested from shortlisted candidates before the interview.

Non-South African citizens who are permanent residents must attach a copy of their Permanent Residence Permit. Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by a SAQA evaluation certificate.
