Requirements
Applicants must have an undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), in one of the relevant fields.

Duties
The Senior Administration Officer: Operations will perform duties related to Unemployment Insurance services and operational administration.
Key responsibilities include providing Unemployment Insurance services through interaction with customers. This involves assisting customers and handling enquiries relating to UIF services.
The successful candidates will also be responsible for quality assurance and follow-up on Unemployment Insurance applications. This requires attention to detail and the ability to monitor applications and ensure that matters are followed up appropriately.

Z83 and CV Requirements
The Department has provided specific instructions regarding the application documents.
For an online application, the completed new Z83 application form and CV must be submitted as one attachment.
The application must clearly indicate:
- The correct job title
- The correct reference number
- The correct name of the Department
- The appropriate email address associated with the post, where applicable
Applicants must use the new Z83 application form. Applications submitted using the old Z83 form will not be considered.
The new Z83 can be obtained from any Public Service Department or from the South African Government website.
Each application for each post must have its own application form. Applicants applying for multiple posts should therefore pay close attention to the reference number and ensure that the correct details are provided for each application.
Completing the Z83 Form
Applicants must complete all fields in Sections A, B, C and D of the Z83 in full.
Because of limited space on the form, applicants may indicate “refer to CV” or “see attached” in Sections E, F and G where appropriate.
However, the question concerning conditions that could prevent re-appointment under Part F must be answered.
The declaration must also be completed and signed.
The Department states that only an updated comprehensive CV and a completed, initialled and signed Z83 application form are required at the initial application stage.
Applicants should not send unnecessary certified documents unless specifically requested at a later stage.
Certified Documents
Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents.
These documents must be submitted on or before the day of the interview, following communication from Human Resources.
The qualifications and supporting documents submitted by shortlisted candidates must correspond with the requirements of the advertised position.
Non-RSA citizens or permanent resident permit holders who have foreign qualifications must provide an evaluation report issued by SAQA when shortlisted.

Pre-Entry Assessments
