The successful candidates will play a critical role in delivering excellent customer service, managing grant applications, and ensuring efficient administrative processes in support of SASSA’s mission to provide social security services to eligible citizens.

Minimum Requirements
- A qualification in a relevant field at NQF Level 6 as recognized by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- Computer literacy is essential.
- A valid driver’s license and/or administrative/clerical experience will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The Grants Administrator will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service to grant applicants and beneficiaries.
- Screening and capturing grant applications, including beneficiary maintenance functions.
- Administering medical bookings and assessments for grant eligibility.
- Offering off-site grant application services to clients in communities.
- Scanning and batching of grant files to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Performing other administrative duties as required to support the efficient operation of the grants process.
