Great North Transport, a leading passenger transport service provider in the Limpopo Province invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following challenging position at Great North Transpont.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10
• Drivers license (Code EC and PDP)
• Five years hands on Bus driving experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The main responsibility is to get passengers to their destination safely and on time.

Other activities:

• Conducting pre and post route inspections of vehicles.
• Follow traffic laws and employer safety rules while driving.
• Collecting fares from passengers
• Assisting passenger who need help getting on and off the bus.
• Remaining in communication with dispatcher throughout a shift.
• Completing paperwork to report accidents, vehicle problem and other issues.
• Cleaning the bus interior as needed.
• Answering questions about bus routes, transfers, stops and fares.

Job Specific Competencies:

• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Safe driving record
• Basic maths skills to calculate fares and collect payment.
• Active listening skills to carry instructions.
