These vacancies are available across multiple camps and departments, including driving, administration, reception, and camp support services. Successful applicants will be responsible for carrying out duties aligned with operational needs at various rest camps and offices, supporting daily park functions and service delivery to visitors and staff. VACANCY: 1X FTC CAMP DRIVER

Olifants Rest Camp
Paterson Grading: FT-B2
Nxanatseni Region – Kruger National Park
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Closing Date: 26 February 2026

Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned vacant position in the Nxanatseni Region of the Kruger National Park at Olifants Rest Camp. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Key Performance Areas
  • Drive camp vehicle and complete daily trip sheets
  • Transport equipment, goods, passengers and staff to medical facilities outside the park
  • Take responsibility for goods from loading to delivery point
  • Collect and deliver the camp’s linen
  • Assist with general camp duties when not driving
  • Collect refuse from camp and living quarters to dumping site
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or accidents
  • Complete monthly vehicle log sheets
  • Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required by Supervisor / Management
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Code 10 (C) Driver’s licence with valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
  • Minimum three (3) years driving experience
  • Literate in English (read and write)
  • Understanding of conservation and environmental issues
  • Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

The Finance Department at the Phalaborwa Office seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person to take up the position of Admin Clerk. The successful candidate will be expected to stay outside the Park.

Key Performance Areas
  • Checking, consolidating and submitting monthly payroll documents (overtime, standby, temporary employees etc.)
  • Processing employee expenses (S&T, sundry expenses and kilometre claims)
  • Generate and process debtors transactions
  • Update housing list monthly
  • Submit monthly water and electricity readings
  • Process creditors transactions
  • Prepare monthly fuel stock reconciliations
  • Perform asset management for the subdivision
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Order office supplies
  • Assist with receiving ordered goods and submit invoices for payment
  • Compile monthly vehicle log sheets
  • Compile attendance registers
  • Filing of documents
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Financial Management / Accounting
  • Experience with Great Plains Financial System (advantage)
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge of BCEA, PFMA and SANParks policies
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
