The Directorate of Extracurricular Development has a Part-time position (from 01 March 2025 to 31 December 2025) for Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Director.
Critical Performance Areas
- Assist in overseeing all aspects of a Podcast’s production, ranging from technical to administrative tasks
- Assist in the production of podcast episodes and content
- Host the podcast shows
- Responsible for the booking of quests
- Handling most decisions around podcasts, such as topics to discuss, and setting up recording equipment
- Liaising with guests and other team members to ensure timely delivery of content
- Assist in developing and managing podcast marketing strategies to increase audience engagement and growth
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to create engaging and relevant content for the podcast
- Monitor and analyse podcast performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth
Minimum Requirements
- Academic qualifications:
- A National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- Other requirements:
- Able to monitor student’s academic performance (students who registered with the directorate for out-of-classroom activities) for support and referral
- Available to work during office hours, after hours and weekends
- Available to travel to all campuses
- Driver’s license will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills, a strong on-camera presence, and the ability to adapt to various formats, including live broadcasts and interviews.
- Experience in conducting interviews (on radio or television) with guests.
