Responsibilities:
- Performing periodic supply chain analysis
- Implementing, facilitating and/ or coordinating the roll out of initiatives
- Monitoring supply chain elements to assess performance efficiencies and effectiveness
- Generating reports using data from relevant sources to ensure the compilation of meaningful information
- Undertaking and reviewing assigned projects as and when required
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3 years’ experience in applying the principles of Industrial Engineering with some exposure to a supply chain network
- Proficient in drawing information from SAP and other IS systems for analysis purposes
- Good knowledge of techniques for analysis business indicators and data
- Good understanding of logistical factors that impact the cement industry
- 11.Understanding end to end supply chain process and the impact of focus areas
- 12.Understanding of the dynamics that influence the supply chain
- 13.Knowledge of economic and financial principles related to cost implications
- 14.Very proficient in using computer software
- 15.Good written and verbal presentation skills
