Position: Production Medical Packer
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Division: Medical
Department: Production
Purpose
To ensure that all individual tasks as set out by the Team Leader is completed accurately and on time.
Functions:
– Accurately pack medical device components according to manufacturing order.
– Load components and label as per work instruction.
– Prepare components for production manufacturing.
– Inspect each component you prepare for any foreign matters and meeting specifications.
– Always adhere to cleanroom protocols when inside production.
– Production housekeeping.
– Work at a required production order packaging speed.
– To comply to all Akacia Medical documented procedures.
Additional Duties:
– May be required to act (in absence of Team Leader) as a Team Leader.
– To be able to work on all production manufacturing stations (when provided with
training).
– Cleaning your workstation at the end of the shift.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required by the position:
– Grade 11
– Minimum 1 year working experience in a manufacturing environment.
– Knowledge of Production concepts, procedures, and methodologies.
