Assessment Process:

  • Shortlisted candidates will undertake a pre-entry practical exercise to assess suitability based on technical and generic post requirements.
  • For Senior Management Services (SMS) positions, candidates must provide proof of registration and completion of the Nyukela Pre-entry Certificate (available at https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entryprogramme/) at their own expense.
  • SMS candidates will undergo a technical competency exercise and, post-interview, a generic managerial competency assessment using DPSA SMS tools.
  • Suitable candidates will be subject to personnel suitability checks (criminal record, citizenship, credit record, qualification verification, employment verification).
