Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this position is to deliver reliable general maintenance and handyman services to ensure that buildings, offices, and facilities remain functional, safe, and well-maintained. The role involves both routine maintenance tasks and urgent repairs, supporting the smooth operation of daily activities within the organisation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
General Maintenance and Repairs
  • Carry out building and office repairs including plumbing, painting, brickwork, paving, tiling, carpeting, and replacing broken glass
  • Conduct roof inspections and attend to minor structural issues
  • Perform office alterations such as removing and installing partitions, hanging doors, and replacing ceiling tiles
Building Inspections
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, including multi-storey buildings
  • Identify and report major defects or maintenance concerns to management
  • Ensure buildings meet safety and maintenance standards
Furniture and Equipment Handling
  • Handle relocation and removal of office furniture, including dismantling and reassembling desks
