Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Starting Date: 1 August 2025

Remuneration: R138 486 per annum plus benefits (Benefits include a thirteenth cheque. Membership of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is compulsory. Employees may also be eligible to receive a Homeowner’s housing allowance and the employer’s medical aid subsidy. Details regarding the fringe benefits are available on request). Permanent position is subject to 12 months’ probation.

Requirements

1. ABET: Grade 10/Standard 8 (read, write and counting literacy)
2. Relevant working experience
3. Knowledge of cleaning operations and office upkeep
4. Deadline driven approach
5. Must be able to pick up and carry equipment and heavy objects
6. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
7. Good health

Responsibilities

1. Daily cleaning of campus facilities as per allocated area
2. Deep cleaning of campus facilities at scheduled intervals
3. Assistance with some general maintenance tasks on campus
4. Assistance with the setting up of facilities for meetings or functions
5. Provide a general support service to the General Foreman
6. Performing of ad hoc tasks applicable to daily cleaning activities or any other tasks allocated

Recommendations

  1. Multilingualism would be an advantage
  2. NQF L4 or Matric qualification
  3. Valid driver`s license
