Purpose

- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent National Certificate is essential.
- A Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehousing, distribution, or a similar environment is required.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and relevant distribution software, is necessary.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management: Coordinate and manage all store orders, including specialized Jab orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing from receipt to delivery.
- Communication: Maintain daily interactions with store managers, regional teams, and other stakeholders to provide updates on order statuses and resolve any issues that arise.
- Query Resolution: Handle help desk queries with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain store satisfaction and operational continuity.
- Pallet Control: Implement and monitor effective pallet control procedures to optimize stock movement and minimize losses within the distribution centre.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure all information provided to stores, including ETAs and order statuses, is accurate and up-to-date to support seamless operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency within the distribution centre and propose actionable solutions to streamline processes.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards to maintain a high level of operational integrity.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on order statuses, query resolutions, and pallet control metrics to support management decision-making.
