The City of Johannesburg invites applications for Short-Term Contract EPWP Youth Graduate Work Opportunities in various environmental fields. The opportunities are available to eligible young graduates looking to gain practical workplace experience and develop their careers in the environmental sector.

Available positions include Waste Management Youth Graduate, Climate Change Youth Graduate, Air Quality Youth Graduate, Environmental Education & Awareness Youth Graduate, Biodiversity & Open Space Management Youth Graduate, Occupational Health and Safety Compliance Youth Graduate, and Impact Management and Compliance Youth Graduate.

The contract positions are available until 31 March 2027, with a daily stipend of R271.04. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, meet the relevant qualification requirements, and be South African citizens residing in the City of Johannesburg. Applications close on 10 September 2026.
