The City of Umhlathuze invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply Learnership Programme for a period of 12 and 24 months.
Position: Learnership Programme
Stipend: R5 500.00 – R6000.00 per month
Location: KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Closing Date: 06 May 2024 at 16h00
Learners must be residents of the City of Umhlathuze – Proof of residence must be attached (Which will be verified)
Engineering Studies
Programme 1: In-Service Training X150 Learners Required
Qualification: Various fields of Engineering Eg. Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.
Stipend: R5 500 per month
Duration of programme: 24 months
Minimum Admission Requirements:
Provide opportunities for students/learners requiring a period of workplace learning in order to complete their academic qualifications (e.g. TVET Colleges, Universities of Technology and Universities)
Business Studies
Programme 2: In-Service Training X50 Learners Required
Qualification: Business Studies
Stipend: R5 500 per month
Duration of programm: 12 months
Minimum Admission Requirement:
Who should apply: University of Technology students ONLY, with S4 requiring the WIL component to acquire their National Diploma.
No TVET applications will be accepted.
Learnerships
Programme 3: Graduate Internship Programme X100 Learners Required
Qualification: Various fields of studies. All Graduates from various Institutions and various qualifications.
Stipend: R6000.00 per month
Duration of programme: 24 months
Minimum Admission Requirements:
Provide opportunities for graduates to access practical workplace experience that will aid them in future employment.
