Gauteng Department of Social Development

The Department of Social Development invites dedicated and qualified individuals to apply for the position of Social Worker Grade 1. This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from R 325,200 to R 382,374 within the Occupational Specific Dispensation framework. A total of 25 positions are available across various locations, including the Western, Eastern, Southern, Northern, and Central Corridors, as well as specialized treatment centers like the Dr Fabian & Florence Rebeiro Treatment Centre.

Candidates must have a recognized degree in Social Work and be registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).

Applicants should be dedicated to enhancing social well-being through comprehensive care, support, and protection services for vulnerable individuals, families, and communities.
