Experienced Forklift and Reach Truck Drivers are required to support operations at VW Kariega. Responsibilities include accurate picking, replenishment, and handling of stock across designated areas in accordance with system-generated documents and scanning protocols.
Forklift Driver X5 (Various Departments – VW Kariega)
Location: 103 Algoa Road, Industrial Park, Kariega

Department: Supply Chain – Operations
Role Overview
The primary responsibility is to maintain stock levels within pick, intermediate, a-frame, and bulk locations by picking and replenishing according to system-generated documents and scanners as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Scanning must be completed in sequence and targets maintained within each cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to the company’s rules and regulations as documented in the disciplinary policy.
- Maintain housekeeping within the assigned work area.
- Follow safe work practices as defined during induction and ongoing health and safety training.
- Conduct forklift inspections at the start of every shift.
- Complete the motorized equipment checklist and damage control form.
- Operate scanners and strictly adhere to the SOP and operational sheets.
- Perform any other reasonable and executable tasks within vocational ability assigned by a superior.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of previous working experience.
- Accredited forklift driver’s license.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Capacity to work under pressure and manage setbacks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations.

Reach Truck Driver X5 (CMW – VW Kariega)

Role Overview

- Follow safe working practices as defined through induction and related health and safety training efforts.
- Complete reach truck inspections at the start and end of each shift.

- Adhere strictly to SOPs and operational sheets.
- Operate the required scanners efficiently.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks within the scope of vocational ability as assigned by superiors.

- Matric certificate inclusive of English and Mathematics.
- Two years of previous work experience.
- Accredited reach truck driver’s license.
