The Dynamic Fluid Control invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for an Internship Programme 2023/2024

POSITION: Manufacturing Interns X10 (12 months contract) #DFC210823-3
LOCATION: Benoni
REPORTING TO: Production Manager
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: The incumbent will form part of the production team. This is an opportunity for graduates to gain practical work experience within the manufacturing environment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Communicating and maintaining the required quality standards to other functions
  • Build customer relationships in order to understand their needs
  • Standards are met in terms of quality, quantity and due dates
  • Provide good quality results when accumulating data, processing data or reporting on data
  • Manage own work planning and delivery in accordance to instruction given by superior
  • Identify optimization opportunities and assist with the implementation thereof, under supervision
  • Provide technical support to multi-disciplinary teams in specific environments
  • Perform all tasks cost-consciously
  • Apply safety principles in the planning and execution of projects

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

  • N4 – N6 Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE

  • No work experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good understanding and knowledge of mining machines, components, application and operations an advantage.
  • Driven, results orientated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of Basic Design and Engineering practices
  • Basic Kinematics, hydraulic knowledge
