Successful candidates will support daily protection operations, maintain access control procedures, identify potential risks, and contribute to the prevention of criminal activity through consistent security presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain professional working relationships with clients regarding security services rendered
- Ensure compliance with site-specific security procedures and operational requirements
- Monitor access control points and verify authorization of visitors and personnel
- Conduct routine patrols across assigned premises to detect suspicious activity
- Identify potential security risks and report vulnerabilities immediately
- Implement preventative measures to reduce unauthorized access incidents
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to established procedures
- Maintain accurate occurrence book entries and incident reports
- Ensure security equipment is used correctly and responsibly
- Support supervisors with recommendations to improve site security effectiveness
- Maintain visibility at assigned posts to strengthen deterrence against criminal activity
- Enforce safety regulations and company operational standards at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in security supervising
- Valid PSIRA Grade C registration and accreditation
- Clean criminal record
- Firearm competency in at least two weapons, including a handgun
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
