REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 certificate. One year experience in Administration Department. Knowledge of SAP/HIS and BAS system will be an added advantage. Computer literacy, communication skills and ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of customer care and Batho Pele Principles. Have good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to rotate and be prepared to assist other section of Administration Department when there is a needs.
DUTIES:
Filling and retrieval of patients’ medical records and collect the patient medical records in all areas. Ensure that ward statistics are done on daily basis. Safekeeping and disposal of patients files in terms of National Archives Act. Capture and update patient information on the HIS/SAP system. Safeguard of patient’s records. Complete and implement of GPF 4&5. Attend to patient queries. Collect revenue as per Hospital needs. Classify patients according to their category, collect file from the wards and discharge in system. Tracing of missing files and tracking the movement of the patients’ medical records on the system and register book. Correct capturing and completion of downtime register and down time tool. Ensure the quality data capturing of all the externally funded patient’s. Ensure that Ideal Hospital Framework and Realization, Batho Pele Principles, Patient’ Rights and OHS Act are upheld. Contributes to management of complaints and Patient Safety Incident. Perform any other duties as delegated.
