The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme for 2027/29.
The programme is designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience and improve their employment opportunities. Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend/allowance from the Department.

Dates of starting and leaving employment must be provided in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified supporting documents on or before the day of the interview, following communication from Human Resources. Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide a qualification evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by SAQA.
Applicants must also attach a signed affidavit confirming that they have not previously benefited from an Internship Programme offered by any National or Provincial Government Department or Local Municipality. Shortlisted candidates may also be required to undergo a competency test.
If an applicant has not been contacted within three months after the closing date of the advertisement, the application should be regarded as unsuccessful.
