- Requirements: Degree/National Diploma in Civil Engineering/Project Management • Driver’s license • No work experience required
- Responsibilities: Delivering technical support and evaluating proposed projects in alignment with respective Municipal IDP and regional and Provincial growth and development plans • Facilitation of labor-intensive construction methods in line with the EPWP framework and related reporting requirements • Project registration on all MIG and LGES projects • Fields to be exposed to: Planning, Design, tender processes and construction supervision

5. 1x Assistant Director: Occupational Health and Safety — REF (21/GGM/2026)
- Salary: R572 937.29 – R601 870.69 per annum, post level 04. Car Allowance: R13 673.90 p/m (Excluding Benefits)
- Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management/Occupational Health and Safety or relevant • 3–4 years experience in Occupational Health and Safety • Registration Certificate • Valid Driver’s license
- Responsibilities: Promote safe and healthy environmental through monitoring and management of occupational health and safety risks • Conduct occupational health and safety inspections and audits • Coordinate incident reporting and preliminary investigations • Facilitate compliance with relevant occupational health and safety requirements, legislations, codes of practice, standards and norms • Maintain compliance documentation • Facilitate establishment of OHS committee and ensure functionality thereof • Ensure effective administration of occupational health and safety activities • Staff supervision
6. 1x HRM Intern (Two-year contract) — REF (22/GGM/26)

- Responsibilities: Maintain personnel records • Administer employee’s benefits • Coordinate liaison with the benefit scheme administrators • Assist with leave records of employees • Facilitate the preparation of salary payment related documents • Facilitate recruitment and selection services • Provide support in drafting advertisement
7. 1x MPAC Intern (Two-year contract) — REF (23/GGM/26)
- Salary: R100 000 per annum
- Requirements: Degree/National Diploma in Public Management/Administration • No work experience required
- Responsibilities: Coordinate processes and procedures for MPAC operations • Review and investigate all matters referred to the committee by other Council committees • Analyse financial and performance reports with reports on possible risks and opportunities • Assist MPAC on possible corrective measures & identify unintended consequences and provide possible recommendations • Coordinate guidance, establish, facilitate, coordinate, and maintain stakeholder relations • Coordinate Administrative Functions
