CORPORATE SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Position: 4 X Administrative Clerk (Recruitment)
(Job Id Number 4/1/1/010, 4/1/1/012, 4/1/1/014 & 4/1/1/016)
Salary: R 215 644. 80 per annum (Job level 13

The job purpose of Administrative Clerk is to render recruitment and selection services.

Key performance areas:
The Administrative Clerk must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council.

He/she will be responsible for:
• Render recruitment and selection processes
• Administer doctor’s visits for employees.

Requirements:
• Grade 12,
• Certificate in Human Resource Management or relevant qualification;
• One (1) year relevant experience.


BUDGET AND TREASURY DEPARTMENT

Position: Cashier X2
(Job Id Number: 3/4/4/004 & 3/4/4/003)
Salary: R 378 465. 84 per annum (Job level 9)

Job purpose of Cashier is to administer payment of connection fees, deposits for services and actual services accounts.

Key performance areas:
The Cashier must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council.

He/she will be responsible for:
• Administer manual and electronic payment of connection fees, deposits for services and actual service accounts.

Requirements:
• Grade 12;
• Certificate in Financial Management and 1-year relevant experience.


DEPARTMENT-BUDGET AND TREASURY

Position: 1 X Administrative Clerk (Credit Control)
(Job Id Number 3/4/2/004)
Salary: R 428 356. 56 per annum (Job level 8)

The job purpose of Administrative Clerk is to render payment of service accounts.

Key performance areas:
The Administrative Clerk must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council.

He/she will be responsible for:
• Administer electronic payment of service accounts
• Render Cashier activities.
• Administer manual receipts books and bank deposits books.

Requirements:
• Grade 12,
• Certificate in Financial Management or related qualification;
• One (1) year relevant experience and good communication skills.


PLANNING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Position: 1 X Administrative Officer
(Job Id Number 2/3/3/001)
Salary: R 589 866. 24 per annum (Job level 5)

The job purpose of Administrative Officer is to coordinate the administration, maintain and updating of properties and related database and the transfer of properties relating to the Valuation Roll

Key performance areas:
The Administrative Officer must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council.

He/she will be responsible for:
• Coordinate the administration of transfer of property
• Maintain and update all properties and related database
• Administer changes to stand information as per occupation certificates to update valuation roll and ensure correct income.

Requirements:
• National Diploma in Financial Management or relevant qualification,
• Driver’s license and Three (03) years relevant experience.
