The Health & Safety Administrator will join the Devland team and provide important administrative support to the Risk Specialist and wider Health and Safety function.
Purpose of the Position
The main purpose of the Health & Safety Administrator position is to provide effective administrative support for health and safety activities at the Devland operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate health and safety information, supporting compliance activities, coordinating training and inductions, assisting with audits and inspections, and ensuring that relevant documentation and records are properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Health and Safety Data Administration
The Health & Safety Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records relating to workplace health and safety activities.
Duties include maintaining records of incidents, risk assessments, training activities, toolbox talks, safety meetings and corrective actions. The successful candidate will also update safety registers and compliance tracking tools to ensure that information remains current and accurate.
Accurate administration is important because health and safety records may be required for monitoring, reporting, audits and compliance purposes.
Safety Systems Support
The successful applicant will assist with data capture and system administration relating to health and safety.

Administrative and General Support
General administrative support will be provided to the Health and Safety Manager and team.

Education Requirements
Applicants should have a National Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Health and Safety Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
H&S-related coursework or awareness will be advantageous.
Exposure to SAMTRAC or an equivalent health and safety programme will also be beneficial.
