The role involves serving as a receptionist and switchboard operator at the Central Office, managing interactions with visitors, employees, and Pepclo Management. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling of Visitors: Greet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization.
- Switchboard Operator: Manage incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments, and handle inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Housekeeping of Reception Area: Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area to reflect the PEP brand’s standards.
- General Duties: Handle parcels, coordinate general deliveries, and perform other administrative tasks as required to support smooth office operations.
Requirements
Job Incumbent Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a switchboard operator and/or receptionist.
Skills:
- Computer literacy (proficiency in standard office software).
- Strong interpersonal and social skills to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to handle inquiries and interactions professionally.
- Language: Proficiency in an African language will be considered an advantage.
