Thorburn Security Solutions is urgently looking for disciplined, reliable, and professional Grade C Security Officers to join our team in Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect client employees, visitors, buildings, and movable assets
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance equipment
- Control access and egress points (visitor and vehicle management)
- Respond to alarms and emergencies
- Report all incidents, irregularities, and policy violations
- Direct traffic on site when required
- Complete detailed reports and obtain statements/signatures where needed
- Maintain equipment in good working order
- Deliver excellent customer service while upholding high security standards
Requirements:
- Grade 11–12 or equivalent
- Valid and up-to-date PSIRA Grade C registration (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Grade C Security Officer
- Experience in corporate access control and patrolling (essential)
- Clear criminal record
- Physically fit and able to work shifts (including nights, weekends & public holidays)
- Valid driver’s license (advantage)
- Computer literacy (advantage)
