The King Cetshwayo District Municipality invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position.

POSITION: King Cetshwayo District Municipality: General Assistant – Cemetery X1

SALARY: R124 059.00 per annum (Minimum – excluding benefits)
In addition, fringe benefits include a 13th cheque, membership of the provident fund, group life insurance, medical aid and housing allowance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 Applicants must possess ABET Level 2/3.
 The post requires 1-2 weeks’ experience.
 In addition, applicants must reside within King Cetshwayo District and must attach proof of residence from respective Councillor.

 Must be physically fit and able bodied.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE POST:
 May be required to work in all weather conditions

In terms of the Municipality’s Recruitment Policy, this position is open to candidates from the designated group; however, preference will be given to candidates as per the Municipality’s Employment Equity Plan.

All shortlisted candidates will be subjected to security vetting and Competency Assessments.
