Mopani District Municipality invites unemployed youth to participate in a range of learning intervention programmes funded by the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA) and RAMS.

9. Electrical Engineering

Qualification Required: NQF Level 5 N6 Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a TVET college.

10. Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Operations
Programme Type: Learnership
Number of Opportunities: 50
Duration: 24 months
Monthly Stipend: R4,000
Qualification Required: NQF Level 4 Grade 12 with English Level 2 and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy Level 2.
This is the largest programme in the advert, with 50 opportunities available. Applicants who meet the Grade 12, English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy requirements can apply.
The learnership provides an opportunity for unemployed youth to gain practical experience and workplace exposure in water and wastewater treatment process operations.
11. Civil Engineering
Programme Type: Internship
Number of Opportunities: 3
Duration: 12 months
Monthly Stipend: R2,500
Qualification Required: Grade 12; S4 in Civil Engineering; Diploma in Civil Engineering; or BSc in Civil Engineering. A driver’s licence is also required.
Applicants with the required Civil Engineering qualification and driver’s licence can apply for this internship opportunity.
