Bayobab manages MTN’s international and national wholesale activities, delivering dependable wholesale and infrastructure solutions for fixed connectivity, along with wholesale mobility services that span international mobile services, voice, SMS, signaling, roaming, and interconnect.

The Opportunity

This traineeship offers an entry point into the world of corporate finance for a motivated graduate ready to build a career within a fast-growing, pan-African telecommunications infrastructure business. The Finance Trainee position is designed to support the Financial Operations team, with a particular focus on the Procurement and Accounts Payable functions.

This includes retaining supporting evidence, coordinating Control Owner reviews, completing Process Owner and Executive attestations, managing control remediation, and monitoring progress through Operational and Executive CSA dashboards. The trainee will provide the day-to-day coordination and administration needed to keep this lifecycle accurate, complete, and on schedule, all while learning and developing within the Risk & Compliance function.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in finance operations, risk management, and corporate governance within a hybrid working environment based in Roodepoort, Gauteng.
