Position: Fire Fighters X4 Posts
Job Type: Permanent
Task Grade: 06 (Subject to Job Evaluation outcomes)
Salary: R 186 622,46 – R 242 249,45
Location: Mthatha, Eastern Cape
Reports to: Senior Fire Fighter
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 11
- Fire Fighter Certificate 1
- First Aid Certificate Level 1
- Code C1 Driving License with PrDP
- 1 year in the relevant field
Key Responsibilities:
- Carries out fire-fighting activities and emergency operations
- Prepares for emergency incidents and fire protection activities
- Applies machine operations and maintenance according to certification guidelines
- Implements efficient financial and asset management activities
- Performs basic administrative and reporting functions associated with firefighting
- Interacts with relevant stakeholders with matters pertaining to firefighting activities
