Necsa Group invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Cleaner X1 (Internal/External) position at Hay Level 6/A3, based in the North West. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across office facilities through general and deep cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, waste disposal, and stocking of cleaning supplies. The position also requires compliance with SHEQ standards, Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS), and worker safety procedures, as well as reporting maintenance or repair needs to management.
The minimum requirement for this position is Grade 10 with basic reading and writing skills, while Grade 12 will be an added advantage. Applicants must have at least two years’ proven cleaning experience and be able to operate polishing and stripping machines. Strong interpersonal skills, physical stamina, teamwork, adaptability, accountability, and integrity are essential. Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment across all office and facility areas, while complying with SHEQ and safety standards.
Key Performance Areas
- Perform general clean-up of all office facilities
- Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting
- Dispose of trash from bins and containers
- Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks
- Report deficiencies or repairs required to management
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Perform heavy cleaning tasks and special or ad-hoc projects
- Ensure SHEQ compliance, including Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS)
- Adhere to worker safety requirements
