Introduction
Clicks Polokwane Site is seeking 6 exceptional DC Assistants to support the site by receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, managing inventory, and performing quality checks on items and documentation.

Job description

  • Work across Warehouse sections including Receiving, Picking, Stock Control, Dispatch, Returns, and Replenishment.
  • Receive, pick, control inventory, replenish, and dispatch items for orders.
  • Perform quality checks on content against order documentation for quantity and quality.
  • Compare reference numbers, report errors in the logbook, and provide feedback to the supervisor.
  • Prepare packages for shrink wrapping where required and ensure breakable items are correctly packed.
  • Use appropriate size packaging based on package size and contents.
  • Place labels correctly on the outside of packaging.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean workstation.
  • Assist colleagues with workload or work in other sections as needed.
  • Participate in stock-takes to contribute to stock accuracy through cycle counts.
  • Ensure orders allocated to your scanner are fully picked and packed according to standards.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets as set.
