- Grade 12
- Security training certificate with Grade C PSIRA registration
- Firearm competency certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Higher certificate qualification in a security environment will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in the security environment
- Must be physically fit and willing to work shifts and under pressure
- 6-day worker firearm competency

- Record daily incidents relating to security breaches, irregularities, property damage, theft, unauthorised persons, and unusual activities

- Conduct searches of vehicles, property, and equipment where required
- Report criminal or suspicious matters to the South African Police Service when necessary
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems
- Make Occurrence Book (OB) entries for all incidents
- Update and maintain access control registers
- Report any non-functional or faulty security systems
