SASSA: Contract Worker Vacancies 2026: Grants Administration & Debt Management Posts

Minimum Requirements
  • NQF Level 6 qualification (360 credits) in:
    • Financial Accounting OR
    • Financial Management
  • Recognised by SAQA
  • Computer literacy required
Duties
  • Preparation and maintenance of interest calculation spreadsheets.
  • Ensuring accuracy in the calculation of interest related to outstanding debts.
  • Contact and trace public servants who have signed Acknowledgement of Debt (AOD) agreements but have not completed Persal deductions.
  • Follow-ups with debtors who are not making payments as required.
  • Compiling AODs, which formalize the agreements between debtors and the organization.
  • Prepare and compile handover spreadsheets detailing debts that need to be transferred to debt collectors.
  • Compilation of monthly payment information for debt collectors.
  • Tracking payments received and updating relevant records to reflect the current status of each debt.
  • Perform other administrative functions related to debt management.
