SASSA Grant Administrator Vacancies 2026 | Apply by 30 July

SASSA invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for Grant Administrator (X5) vacancies in the Gauteng Region. The positions are available at Mamelodi, Bronkhorstspruit, Diepkloof (Soweto/Orlando), Krugersdorp, and Ga-Rankuwa Local Offices. The successful candidates will receive a salary of R237,453 – R279,708 per annum (exclusive of benefits).

Applicants must have an NQF Level 6 qualification recognised by SAQA in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Security, Law, or Information Technology (IT). The role includes providing grant customer services, processing grant applications, maintaining beneficiary records, administering medical bookings and assessments, providing off-site grant services, and scanning and batching grant files.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should hold a qualification in the relevant field at NQF Level 6 as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in any of the following:

Duties

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide grant customer services.
  • Screen and capture grant applications.
  • Perform beneficiary maintenance functions effectively.
  • Administer medical bookings and assessments.
  • Provide off-site grant application services to clients.
  • Scan and batch grant files.
