ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: ENROLMENT MANAGEMENT

Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or/ Three (3) Years National Diploma in IT.
•At least two (2) years of experience in basic software programming and IT related support.
•Knowledge of ITS or PeopleSoft will be an added advantage
•Knowledge of University Academic Programs and University Environment will be an added advantage.
•Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to prioritise and coordinate the work of teams and adhere to procedure and protocol and have commitment to high quality service delivery.

Skills
•Knowledge of IT.
•Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML)
•Knowledge of MS office.
•Troubleshooting IT related problems.
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
•Good time management and coordination Skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and able to adhere to set deadlines
•Students’ admission requirement, policies and guidelines.
•Knowledge of University environment.
•Ability to handle student queries.
•Good decision making and supervisory skills.
•Report writing skills.

Duties and responsibilities
The incumbent will be required to
•Monitor, maintain and improve the online application system for, both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
•Monitor, maintain and improve the Application Ranking System (ARS)
•Assist the Head of Enrolment Management Department with planning and organisation
of activities in the department.
•Ensures timeous response to queries and enquiries.
•Assist with compiling of departmental reports
•Assist with compiling of admission information brochures/ Prospectus.
•Ensures that work is done in accordance with policies, procedures and practices.
•Co-ordinate work activities and supervise staff in the section.
