Warehouse General Assistant Vacancy
The position involves assisting with the movement, checking, organisation and storage of stock while ensuring that warehouse areas remain clean, safe and properly organised.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of general warehouse duties. These duties include assisting Receiving Inspectors with the processing of outstanding DNU (Do Not Use) stock.
The candidate will be required to segregate stock as instructed to ensure that different items are properly separated, identified and stored in the correct areas.
Another important responsibility will be assisting with the physical verification of stock quantities. This involves checking quantities against relevant documentation and reporting any differences or discrepancies to the appropriate team member.
The Warehouse General Assistant will also assist with preparing and matching Certificates of Conformance (C of C) to the relevant aircraft parts or other applicable stock. Where a Certificate of Conformance is unavailable, the candidate will be expected to identify and separate the affected parts and refer the matter to the responsible person.
Careful handling of stock will be essential. The successful candidate must ensure that parts and other warehouse items are handled properly to prevent damage, loss, incorrect allocation or improper storage.

General warehouse support will form an important part of the role. The candidate may be required to move and organise stock according to operational requirements and assist the Inventory team with the physical movement of stock within the warehouse.
Stock must be packed and placed in the appropriate racks and designated storage locations as instructed. The candidate will assist with sorting and organising stock to support effective inventory management and ensure that items can be located efficiently when required.
Any visible stock discrepancies, damaged items or incorrectly stored stock must be reported to the relevant team member.
The successful candidate will also be expected to follow all applicable warehouse, safety and stock-handling procedures. Warehouse equipment and resources must be used responsibly and only according to instructions.
Maintaining good housekeeping standards will also be part of the position. Assigned work areas must be kept clean, safe and orderly throughout the working day.
Other reasonable warehouse-related duties may be assigned according to operational requirements.
