POSITION: WAGES CLERK
AVAILABILITY: ASAP
LOCATION OF POSITION: GOSFORTH PARK

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To perform all wages payroll administrative and related functions for Gosforth Park Branch

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wages – PRP

  • Capturing/exporting in and out times
  • Capturing leave on National Bargaining Council
  • Daily sign off
  • Adding trips
  • Authorizing hours (weekly and monthly)
  • Daily headcounts
  • Daily reporting/registers
  • Ordering stationery/packaging material
  • Grocery orders (monthly)
  • Hiring of vehicles
  • Assisting staff with payroll queries
  • Raising PO’s (contract labor, stationery, packaging material, equipment and repairs, motor vehicle hire, first aid, sub￾contractors, small tools etc.)
  • All admin reports that’s requested by supervisors and manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • 1 year payroll (working on Accsys software would be advantageous)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure; flexible to manage more than one task at a time.
  • Computer literate with strong excel skills.
  • A positive attitude!!!
  • Able to deal effectively with all levels of staff including senior management.
  • Very strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Clear Criminal Record
