AfriSam South Africa is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the permanent role of Human Resources Development Administrator (H05) located in Weltevredenpark, Gauteng.

Position: Human Resources Development Administrator (H05) – GAUTENG PROVINCE

Location:
Reporting to the Human Resources Development Practitioner, the incumbent will be based at the Shared Service Centre in Weltevredenpark

Closing Date: 17 April 2025

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Organising, co-ordinate Group training events and other training initiatives as required.
  • Optimally utilising the SAP Business Events module to ensure accurate training data and timeous reporting in respect of compliance and general reporting
  • Administering and keep training records/information up to date on L&D initiatives such as Group study assistance and bursary scheme.
  • Maintaining a proper record system on all documents relating to training and development for compliance and other reporting requirements
  • Ensuring that payment processes for all study assistance, bursaries and other training invoices adhere to procurement processes
  • Managing the Group Tracking report relating to internal and external placement of learners
  • Assisting with the maintenance/updating of Group training provider catalogue.
  • Assisting with the linking of courses to qualifications to enable capturing qualifications on SAP
  • Ensuring that training costs are correctly posted
  • Ensuring that informal/in-house training is captured under the correct categories
  • Providing administrative support to the HRD Team
  • Participating in HRD related Projects

Qualifications, competencies, knowledge and experience required:

  • Grade 12 or Amended Senior Certificate, or National Certificate Vocational Level 4(Human Resources/Training & Development), or technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2 official languages)
  • Certificate in Human Resources or Training and Development
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a training and development environment
  • Computer literacy in MS Office packages and SAP
  • Experience in dealing with training and development information and reporting
  • Basic understanding of aspects and legislation that impact on training and development practices.
  • Good understanding of HR Admin requirements and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, sound financial admin skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Performance driven, deadline driven and methodical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, show initiative, be a team player
