
AfriSam (South Africa) is looking for qualified candidates to apply for the HR Professional position, which will be situated in the Western Cape.
Position: HR Professional – Western Cape Province
Location: Western Cape, South Africa
Closing Date: 11 June 2025
Reporting to the Regional Manager Cape the incumbent will be based at the Peninsula Quarry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing an integrated HR service across the HR functional areas
Ensuring implementation of Social and Labour Plans relating to HRD, DMRE reporting as well as doing stakeholder engagements
Supporting and guiding management on the implementation of policies and procedures.
Supporting management to ensure good IR practices and employee relations
Ensuring a high standard of HR administration and HR reporting in the region
Supporting management to attract and retain the best and most suitable candidates for the region to meet its performance challenges
Facilitating individual and regional organisational development activities to develop individual competence and build organisational capacity
Facilitating and driving the AfriSam Way in the area of responsibility as well as having the AfriSam Way support structures in place
Ensuring compliance to all relevant legislation
Providing regional HR information into the HR Group consolidated reporting and compliance submissions
Qualifications, competencies, knowledge and experience required:
Degree related to Human Resource Management
Three years’ generalist HR experience at a fully professional level
Proficient user, SAP HR and MS Office
Must have valid driver’s license and own transport
Good business acumen
Good knowledge of change management, HR Statutory legislation, Social and Labour Plans, and people management processes
Excellent interpersonal, communication and interviewing skills
Excellent conflict management, facilitation and problem solving skills
Driving for results, customer focused and high working standards
