Position: HR Intern
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of HR Intern that has arisen in the BBF Safety Group based in Johannesburg.
The HR Intern will report to the HR Business Partner and will have amongst others, the following duties and responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities:
- Weekly payroll submissions for wage staff, i.e. submitting hours and attendance activities for payroll submission in conjunction with the time and attendance officer.
- All admin with regards to payroll submissions with strict adherence to payroll cut-off dates.
- Investigate and follow up on pay related and leave queries.
- Coordinate wages recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely, organized and comprehensive procedure is used at all times to hire wage employees.
- Onboarding and termination of wage employees on HRIS.
- Co-ordinate with the HR Business Partner in terms of other HR activities upon completion of wage inputs to payroll.
- Perform other adhoc HR-related duties as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric/Grade 12
- National Diploma/ Degree in Human Resource Management
- MS Office experience, especially MS Excel competency
- Time and Attendance or Payroll experience (advantageous)
