Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa has an opening for a Receptionist where you will be answering calls and handling them, accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs, and providing an overall welcoming environment to external and internal stakeholders. In this Receptionist position
You will be answering of switchboard and directing of phone calls professionally and courteously connect callers with employees.
You will be taking and following up on messages.
You will receive guests and directing them to the appropriate person and office.
You will be opening, sorting and distribution of daily mail / documents via courier.
You will be sending out of documents via courier as and when requested.
You will maintain register of all courier slips.
You will have a good knowledge of teams and departments to help clients and their queries.
You will maintain the entry area so that it is always spotless and well-organized and ready for guests.
You will help with any other secretarial / reception related duties delegated tasks deemed as reasonable as assigned by the reporting manager.
Now, here’s what we need from you
- Must have a matric
- College/University Degree or working toward one will be an advantage
- Good command of English
- 2 years’ experience in related field
