Arrange travelling and accommodation. Capture and update expenditure in the nature reserve. Check correctness of subsistence and travel claims of officials and submit for approval.
Prerequisites
An NQF 4 qualification (grade 12) as recognized by SAQA. One (1) to two (2) years’ experience within the related field. Computer literacy (with certificate).
Person Profile
Knowledge of clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collect statistics. key Performance Areas
Assist with the protection of the nature reserve and its natural environmental resources which will include nature conservation patrols. Inspect and repair boundary fences. Warn visitors on unauthorized actions in the nature reserve and report non-compliance. Assist with fire management services and assist with access control. Assist with monitoring of ecological processes, habitats and biodiversity in the nature reserve which include gather biological and ecological data. Report on areas for rehabilitation and monitor rehabilitation areas. Assist with the monitoring and control of recreational facilities which will include control and monitoring of recreational activities and maintenance of recreational areas. Assist with wildlife management in other areas and communities.
Prerequisites
An NQF 4 qualification (grade12) or equivalent as recognized by SAQA. A valid firearm competency certificate (handgun, rifle, shotgun). Physically fit. No criminal record. Valid driver’s license and PDP (with exception of persons with disability). Related training is essential (from SAWC, or any other accredited institution). Computer literacy (with certificate) will be an added advantage.
