Gold One Gedex Project is a gold mine in Brakpan in the East Rand, east of Johannesburg, in the Gauteng Province.

Qualifying Criteria:
▪️ Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
▪️ Code 10 license with PDP (not negotiable).
▪️ 1-3 years’ experience in a trackless mining environment is essential and required.
▪️ Must have Dover Test Results in A or B or will be submitted for Dover Testing.
▪️ Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages.
▪️ Applicant must possess good verbal communication skills.
▪️ South African Citizenship.
▪️ Clear Criminal Record.
▪️ Must be declared medically fit by our OHP
Responsibilities:
• Transport and collect packages to and from destinations.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Collect payments and issue receipts.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay current on road conditions.
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction.
• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean.
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
• Ensure that the machine is in good operating order and report any faults and inconsistencies to the Supervisor and Control Room
• Always take instructions from the Supervisor responsible for the area/workplace
• Manage and maintain in area of responsibility by mine standards, procedures, and practices.
• Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto: “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely.”
