Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the undermentioned vacancies, based at Main Office, Jane-Furse:
1. Technician: Roads and Stormwater (X1) – Task Grade 11
Basic Salary: R297 112,36 per annum
Duration: Permanent
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus National Diploma Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
- 2 years’ relevant experience.
KPA’s:
- Ensure work carried out in accordance with required technical engineering specifications and standards.
- Undertake roads and storm water operations.
- Compile reports and action roads and storm water findings.
- Electricity administration.
- Housing administration. Supervision of personnel.
2. Payroll Officer (X1) – Task Grade 10
Basic Salary: R261 225,00 per annum
Duration: Permanent
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus National Diploma in Payroll Administration or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Computer Literacy – Office Applications.
- 2 years’ relevant experience.
KPA’s:
- Render payroll administration.
- Reconciling and correcting salary misallocations through the processing of relevant journals.
- Checking information, adjustment and calculations prior to extracting and forwarding the salary report and schedules for approval.
3. Truck Driver: Waste Management (X4) – Task Grade 06
Basic Salary: R150 605,94 per annum (excluding benefits)
Duration: Permanent
Requirements:
- ABET Level 3 plus code EC Drivers’ license with PRDP.
- 1-year relevant experience.
KPA’s:
- Performs activities associated with the collection and disposal of waste using heavy vehicles and transporting personnel.
- Maintain machinery and equipment and tools.
4. Driver: Dipper/Truck (X1) – Task Grade 06
Basic Salary: R150 605,94 per annum (excluding benefits)
Duration: Permanent
Requirements:
- ABET Level 3 plus code EC Drivers’ license with PRDP.
- 1-year relevant experience.
KPA’s:
- Perform specific tasks/activities at the prior to and completion of allocated assignments, by ensuring that instructions and departmental procedures are complied with to enable the execution of service delivery related activities.
- Perform specific tasks associated with the operation of heavy vehicles and/or other vehicles.
- Maintain machinery and equipment and tools.
5. Plant Operators (X3) – Task Grade 06
Basic Salary: R150 605,94 per annum
Duration: Permanent
Requirements:
- Grade 10/Abet level 04, Certificate in plant operation, and C1 driver’s license.
- 0 –1 year relevant experience.
KPA’s:
- Ensure proper operation of plant machinery and vehicles.
- Ensure sidewalks, storm-water & curbing is maintained and operational.
- Ensure effective utilization of tipper lorries.
