Position: Clerk of Work – Intern
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Weza Sawmill, KwaZulu-Natal

The Role:
Join Weza Sawmill as a Clerk of Works (Intern) and become a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in observing, monitoring and reporting quality and progress of the construction site at the sawmill
Qualifications:
• A valid matric certificate
• NQF Level 5 or higher in electrical/mechanical/civil construction studies or similar
Experience:
• Experience in working on a construction site
• High Level of Computer Literacy in MS Office Packages esp. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge and Skills:
• Sound knowledge of construction works
• Good time management skills to meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• High level of accuracy, quality and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills across all levels
• Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure
• Be willing to work extra hours if required
• High integrity and accountability
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
