We are looking for an intern to perform various IT related tasks and provide support in our IT department’s daily activities. If you are interested in kickstarting your career in IT and getting a closer look at how our company operates, we’d like to meet you.
Minimum Requirements
• Relevant IT engineering qualification Computer sciences, Computer systems, Information technology/certification
• Microsoft O365 or Azure qualifications preferred
• IT Helpdesk experience an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for IT and a positive attitude
• The ability to work accurately
• The ability to work under pressure
• Little to NO work experience
• 18-34 of age
• Have not taken part in the YES programme before
• Unemployed
• Resides in Cape Town or is willing to relocate to Cape Town at your own cost
Duties & Responsibilities
• Helps administer the service request queue and IT mailbox
• Installs and configures workstations
• Creates/amends/deletes user accounts
• Resolves Audio Visual equipment issues
• Resolves printing related issues
• Assists with general admin related tasks in the department
