The Siza Coal Services invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Lab Operator / Drivers to be based in Sasolburg, Free State.
Position: X2 Lab Operator / Drivers
Location: Sasolburg Onsite Laboratory

Requirements:
Education
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent with English, Mathematics and Science as subject is preferable.
- Higher educational certificate would add as an advantage.
Experience
- At least one year experience of sample preparation, sampling and analysis would be recommended.
- Experience in working with lab equipment would be recommended.
- Shift work and flexibility experience would be advantageous.
- 2-3 years experience in driving.
Responsibilities: (to list a few)
- Sample collection from different sites.
Offloading samples and grouping the arriving samples according to the site batches as identified by tags. - The initial preparation of samples for their intended analysis.
- Assistant the supervisor in ensuring that no contamination or swapping of samples occurs during receiving.
- Weighing and preparation stages.
- Keeping of all sampling, preparation equipment, machinery and the work area clean always.
- Comply with work-related instructions as may be given by the shift supervisor.
- Assist with projects work on preparation and analysis.
- Comply with safe work practices as stipulated at Siza Coal Services.
- Should be able to relieve in the next upper level.
