DUTIES
- Cleaning of offices:
- Using cleaning materials, vacuum cleaners, brooms, cloths, and brushes.
- Washing office windows and floors to ensure a clean, neat, and healthy environment.
- Cleaning outside the office and maintaining gardens:
- Cutting grass using a lawn mower.
- Using relevant tools and equipment to execute duties effectively.
- Picking up papers on station grounds to ensure a clean and presentable courtyard.
- Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as requested by management/supervisor.

SALARY
- R158,844.00 p.a. – R174,012.00 p.a. (Level 13 of a Grade 4 Local Authority).

DUTIES
- Load and off-load materials and equipment with protected hands and safety tools.
- Unblock sewer pipelines using rodding equipment.
- Clean sewage remains after blockages and sewer overflow.
- Work in sewer-confined space drainage manholes.
- Clean VIP and chemical toilets.
- Use small plant equipment for compaction and sewer-related works.
- Excavate using picks and shovels.
- Clean pump station sumps.
- Cut grass and maintain housekeeping.
- Clean tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Place traffic signs to warn traffic during excavation works near municipal roads.
- Clean the working area with brooms and manual labor tools to ensure a clean environment.
- Perform any labor-related work as requested by the supervisor or superintendent.
- Execute all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth operations.
